In fall of 2003 I purchased a home in the lovely village of Blowing Rock, and have been fortunate to call the High Country my full time home since 2008.  I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, so while not always a mountain girl, there is an immense love for the mountains in my heart and I could not imagine living anywhere else!  This beautiful area is where I met my husband Steve who is a local general contractor. We were married in 2009, and with our marriage I gained two lovely and delightful bonus daughters, and now have two energetic grandchildren that call me Mimi Kim.

I have a creative nature and love music.  My hobbies and interests include clogging 8 years with a local dance studio, singing and leading worship with the praise team for 10 years, piano, oil painting, and cooking.

With a background in finance and banking, I made the decision to become a realtor in 2016, and it has been a perfect fit for me.  I love providing excellent service to both buyers and sellers! While buying and selling properties can produce its own level of stress for clients, I use an effective mix of southern charm and tenacity to produce a successful transaction while helping to keep the anxiety level low.   One of the greatest joys for me in my real estate career has been the relationships with my clients that have remained long after the transaction has been completed.
